The Evergreens in Moorestown, NJ:
One of the region’s most respected Continuing Care Retirement Communities
Founded in 1919 by the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey, The Evergreens in Moorestown is non-denominational Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with an ecumenical spirit. We are home to approximately 300 residents from all walks of life who come together to form a vital and caring community. Our mission is to enhance the individual, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing of our diverse residents. One important distinction from the area’s other retirement communities—We are non-profit. We reinvest all revenue after expenses into ever-improving services and quality of life for those we serve.
The Evergreens meets stringent national standards for fiscal responsibility and service. Only 10% of American CCRCs achieve accreditation by the CARF-CCAC, the independent body that evaluates retirement communities for quality of life, care and financial strength. The Evergreens is one of them.
The Evergreens has earned a perfect rating for long-term and assisted living care from the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, and the highest rating possible—“five stars”—from the Federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
