Exciting times are just beginning once the decision to move to The Evergreens is made.
Deciding which floor plan and location is the perfect one for you is a process, some know right away and others return several times to reach their personal level of comfort about which to choose.
Experienced staff members in our Sales and Marketing Department are there to assist and expedite your move so you can begin enjoying the benefits and amenities as soon as possible.
Selecting your contract option is another early step, one that depends upon your insurance and financial planning preferences.
The first contract known as “Life Care” has more services bundled within it. The second contract is a “Fee-for-Service” approach that gives you the opportunity to pay as you go if you should require any future long-term care.
Either contract includes such additional benefits as one meal each day, housekeeping, utilities, maintenance, use of campus common areas, activity centers and scheduled transportation. Entertaining and thoughtful educational events enrich community life as well.
Once you have decided which apartment and contract is right for you, the actual application process begins by submitting both a financial and a personal statement along with a $500 non-refundable application fee.
Upon approval of your application, you will be asked to make a fully refundable 5% deposit that is applicable to your entrance fee.
Additionally, your physician will need to complete a medical form and return it with the results of recent medical tests. Once your financial paperwork is approved, you will be scheduled for a non-invasive medical evaluation in The Evergreens Medical Clinic.
Completing the contract for your move typically occurs within 60 – 90 days. If circumstances dictate that you need to move sooner, we will make every effort to meet your timeline.
If you see your move occurring after the 90-day timeframe, or you have decided to wait until a particular floor plan becomes available, you can join the Priority Wait List Club.
Once you have completed the application process and submitted your completely refundable 5% deposit, you can begin enjoying some of the many benefits of The Evergreens, including: dinner and lunch certificates, invitations to in-house events and more.
Most importantly your position on the Priority Wait List holds your spot, securing your future home for later.
